About

Hannah Horner, LCPC, ATR-BC

Welcome, I'm Hannah

LCPC, ATR-BC

(she/her)

I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Board-Certified Art Therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals navigating complex family systems, trauma, and barriers within traditional mental health settings. My approach combines compassion with evidence-based practices to create inclusive, trauma-informed spaces for healing.

Therapy is a courageous act, and because it's such a deeply relational process, I believe it's important for you to know who I am beyond my role as a therapist. At my core, I value integrity, community, and accessibility—both in the therapy space and in life. I'm an artist who often returns to charcoal, paint, or clay, and I love teaching wheel-throwing classes that combine creativity with playfulness. I'm also an ultra-runner, an analog photography enthusiast, and someone who recharges by spending time with family and friends—whether it's sharing a meal, hosting a game night, or simply sitting outside together in nature.

I share these parts of myself because they inform the way I show up in the therapy room—with authenticity, openness, and a commitment to creating a safe space for growth and healing.

What I'm Like as a Therapist

I am present, authentic, and deeply committed to creating a space where you feel truly seen and heard. Rather than hiding behind clinical detachment, I bring my genuine self to our work because I believe real connection facilitates healing. I am thoughtful about your full identity and how you arrived here today. You won't be judged for anything you share, and you won't scare me away.
